CUB Ohio Advocacy Group
Working for Ohio small business and residential utility customers.
Energy is changing rapidly. Will Ohio consumers benefit? We work to put them first.
Innovative, new energy technologies will modernize Ohio’s energy grid. Will they benefit the few—or everyone? Will small business and Bob & Betty Buckeye be used as a wallet to pay—or will their needs be a central focus?
We think new technology should be the energy consumer’s friend, not an upcharge.
Innovation can help consumers take control of their bills, expand distributed generation, improve resiliency, lower costs, stimulate the economy, improve air quality, lower emissions, and deliver power equitably. No group of Ohioans is saddled with disproportionate costs or reliability problems.
Energy advocacy that puts Ohio ratepayers first
We represent customers in Ohio, both residential and small business.
We advocate for state and local policies that deliver the benefits of new energy techologies to consumers in the form of less expensive, more sustainable and resilient energy with smart capabilities that give us more control over our monthly bills. We work to benefit underserved citizens, businesses, and communities.
We take an all-of-the-above approach to these issues, and our Board of Directors is fully bipartisan. We include voices from both sides of the aisle and perspectives across Ohio’s economy as we approach policy development, education, and advocacy.
We are a 501(c)(4) non-profit.
